Two volumes, octavo, uniformly bound in publisher's cloth with gilt spine lettering, retaining original dust jackets. Volume One: Year of Decisions; Volume Two: Years of Trial and Hope 1946-1952. Volume One bears a lengthy inscription signed by Harry S. Truman and dated 4/2/56. Both volumes are ex-libris Watkinson Library, with Volume One additionally featuring an "Ex Libris Kathryn Cravens" bookplate.
Dust jackets are protected by clear plastic lamination, showing minor edge wear and light toning. Internally, pages exhibit mild age-toning; text block remains firm. Volumes are square with solid hinges, ex-libris markings present. Overall a well-preserved set.
